Incredible lapse in security at Obama rally!

Not so sure if it really matters. Obama is more than likely our next president. If not he will be the independent that keeps the Republicans in power. He is charismatic and identifies better with the people than any of the candidates out there. As a life long conservative the older I get the more moderate my beliefs become. I am not so sure that our nation is ready for a leader like Obama and if the GOP does not get off their ass and start their march he is the evident contender.

Mediocrity: The Way of Life Now?

Many companies thrive by being mediocre. Their entire business is built around it. McDonald’s, Wal-Mart and Books A Million are names that come to mind. I got a good dose of mediocrity this weekend and felt like this was the best place to talk about it.

Fly a flag, get a ticket

In our volatile political environment with the upcoming elections, an unpopular war, rising fuel prices and turbulent economy you would think that local government would encourage such activities as displaying our National Symbol of Patriotism, the Flag of the United States of America. Well that is not the case in Glynn County Georgia.It is amazing that even the politicians in the area are defending this.
